I get your message when I was inside a cave and just like you mentioned it does indeed work. I am really pleased with the initial results although its proven to be quite complex to properly align multiple scans.
Looking for ways to optimise this.
I did 10 scans and on the last one in complete sunlight the servo didn't want to turn. The battery went way low although I didn't get any error message. Charging the unit solve that issue. I think 8 scans is the save number.
