I have had the sweep for a few months. I am seeing weird fluctuations in the scan while running the view_sweep_laserscan.launch or the view_sweep_pc2.launch. I ran the visualizer in a known environment ie measured by tape measure so that distance to front back left and right are different values. It runs fines ie I get expected scans in each dimension for however long run the test. However when I run either of the ros nodes above I get the expected scan and then every 4th or 5th scan it gets flipped. Typically I have the front dimension somewhere around 1.5 meters the left 20 cm the right 40cm and the back 50cm. When it flips I can clearly see that big difference between front and back.
Is there something I am doing wrong?
