@maxpaolozzi - We do not yet have precise vibration tolerance specs, but we are working on it. We designed Sweep to be able to operate reliably on moving vehicles. We've done several successful trial runs on flying drones and outdoor ground robots. We do know that operating the sensor in high vibration environments will reduce it's life, but we need to do several more months of testing to get better mean time to failure estimates. We are still in the process of tweaking everything we can, both with the hardware and software, to make sure the sensors lasts as long as possible.
@HeadsUpUAV - I would recommend putting some vibration dampeners between any high frequency vibration sources like rotor motors and Sweep. Sweep will produce reliable data either way, but you will be reducing the wear on the Sweep's internal components.
